MASTER PLANS OF DRAINAGE
The hydrologic design engineers at Hunsaker & Associates—Los Angeles have experience in a wide variety of drainage-related projects. Our design team uses the latest in software and technology to create economical and environmentally sustainable drainage system plans for our clients in a timely manner.

Our comprehensive services include hydrology and hydraulic calculations for sizing backbone drainage facilities for large-scale development projects (both public and private), preparation of hydrologic calculations for project sites (including flood flow peak reduction through the use of detention systems), and hydraulic analysis, often resulting in the revision of flood maps.

IMPROVEMENT PLANS, STORM DRAINS
We have prepared a full range of improvement plans for drainage systems, ranging from local storm drains, through all types of lined and unlined open channels.

Realizing the critical environmental ramifications of effective water management and drainage, we work with our clients to create designs that fulfill the requirements of the project with the minimum impact on the local ecosystem. For instance, we often work with biologists to create environmentally friendly onsite filtration systems, such as vegetated swales.
