Principal—Government Relations With more than 14 years of land development experience, Jeannine Giem skillfully leads the entitlement team at Hunsaker & Associates-Los Angeles. In addition, she manages several of the firm’s large projects and heads up due diligence investigations and feasibility studies for a variety of residential and non-residential clients. Her primary responsibilities include strategically maneuvering large-scale projects through the entitlement approval process; engaging in governmental relations activities; and preparing and processing tentative maps, general plan amendments, zone changes, specific plans and other entitlement approvals. Ms. Giem has led successful efforts to form many traffic, drainage and lighting assessment districts in Santa Clarita and Los Angeles County. Her expertise also includes preparing and collaborating on storm water mitigation reports. Ms. Giem is a LEED-Accredited Professional and an AICP certified planner. She received her B.A. in Environmental Analysis and Design with an emphasis in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Irvine.
